Vibe Coder Playground — End-User License Agreement (EULA)

Last updated: 2026-10-05

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("you") and Vibe Coder Playground ("we", "us") for the Vibe Coder Playground desktop application, including all software, updates, and documentation (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and by the terms of the accompanying LICENSE. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. License

Your right to use the App is granted under, and subject to, the terms of the LICENSE file distributed with the App. That file governs what you may and may not do; this Agreement adds the operational terms below.

2. Your responsibilities

The App runs mini-apps ("modules") that you provide, point it at, build, and deploy. You are solely responsible for:

  • the content, security, and legality of any module you run, import, or deploy;
  • any credentials, API keys, tokens, or secrets you enter into the App;
  • any destinations you deploy to (hosts, git remotes, buckets) and the data you send there; and
  • complying with the terms of any third-party service you connect (for example, the Anthropic API, your hosting providers, and your git remotes).

3. AI features and the Anthropic API

The App can call the Anthropic Claude API using an API key you supply. You are responsible for your own API usage and any charges it incurs. AI output can be wrong or incomplete; the Due Diligence ("DD") audit and any generated content are informational aids, not professional, legal, financial, or security advice, and are not a guarantee that a module is safe, correct, or ready to ship. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you rely on or publish it.

The audit standards the App grades against (the "rubrics") are licensed to you for running audits through the App. They are not sold or transferred to you. The App fetches the part of a rubric an audit needs from our servers each time you run one, which needs a signed-in account (a free account is enough) and an internet connection, and it does not keep a copy on your device. The MCP audit tools fetch rubrics the same way and need a Vibe Coder Cloud membership. You may not copy, store, publish or transfer the rubrics.

4. Deployment and data

The App can upload your built modules to destinations you configure. We do not operate those destinations and are not responsible for them. Deploy credentials are stored encrypted on your device (via your operating system keychain where available); you are responsible for safeguarding your device and your accounts.

5. Privacy

The App is local-first. Except for requests you initiate to third parties you configure (such as the Anthropic API or your deploy targets), the App does not send your project data to us. Any data you send to a third-party service is governed by that service's terms and privacy policy.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and our liability is limited, all as set out in the LICENSE. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Termination

This Agreement and your license terminate automatically if you breach either this Agreement or the LICENSE. On termination, stop using the App and delete all copies.

8. Changes

We may update this Agreement for future versions of the App. The version distributed with a given release governs that release.
