Vibe code audit

Is your AI-built app really ready for people to use?

AI can build an app that looks finished in an afternoon. What it often skips is the part you cannot see: who can read whose data, what happens when something fails, and whether it holds up when real people arrive. A vibe code audit checks for exactly that before you launch.

Ours is called the Vibe Coder Standard. It is a fixed, published checklist, so every app is judged the same way, and you always know what was checked and what was not.

You never hand over your code. The audit runs inside the Playground on your own machine. The only outside party that reads your files is the AI you already pay for, on your own key. Your work stays yours.

Before you launch

Find the problems before your users do

A security hole or a lost signup is far cheaper to fix the week before launch than the week after. The audit tells you what to fix first, in the order that matters.

After you launch

Keep it trustworthy as it grows

Every new feature can quietly break something that used to work. Running the same checklist again shows what changed, so your app stays as solid as the day you shipped it.

What the audit checks, in plain words

The checklist is grouped into five questions. Each one is something that can go wrong in an app an AI helped build.

The questionWhat can go wrongWhat it looks at
Locked downSomeone reads other people’s data, a secret key leaks, or a stranger runs up your bill.Security, hidden keys and passwords, abuse of paid services, safe use of AI inside your app, database settings, and emails or texts your app sends.
Actually worksIt breaks the first time real people use it, or loses what they saved.Whether it does what it says, how it handles errors, data that survives, heavy use, and whether it runs the way you ship it, not only on your laptop.
Fast and usablePeople leave because it is slow, confusing, or broken on a phone.Speed, phones and tablets, accessibility for people with disabilities, the basics search engines need, and how easy it is to use.
LegitYour app promises something it does not do, or skips a privacy policy you legally need.Privacy, licenses for code and images you used, legal pages, and whether what you claim matches what the app really does.
Ship-readyIt works today but nobody can safely change it tomorrow.Code quality, the packages it depends on, where the code came from, and whether every file is valid.

What you get back

A clear verdict: pass, caution or fail. Under it, every problem it found, how serious it is, and a step-by-step plan to fix it, most important first. If it could not check something, it says so, and marks it as not checked instead of calling it clean.

Passing means your app meets a clear, public bar. It does not promise there is nothing left to improve, and no honest audit can. Every result carries the date and the version of the checklist it used, so it is clear how current it is.

Run it on your own app

The audit runs inside Vibe Coder Playground, on your own computer, so your code stays with you. The Playground is free, and the full audit and its badge unlock during the beta. The audit uses your own Claude key: you pay Anthropic for that usage directly, and we add nothing on top. See what the beta unlocks.
