Download Vibe Coder Playground
Vibe Coder Playground is a desktop app that audits the app you built with AI before real people use it — who can read whose data, what happens when something fails, and whether it holds up when someone actually arrives. It is free, and the beta launches on macOS, Windows and Linux together.
The download is not open yet, and here is exactly why
We would rather tell you what is left than put a button here that hands you something we are not ready to stand behind. Two things are in the way, and neither of them is the app itself.
- The Mac build is being signed and notarized. Without that, macOS stops the app on first launch and tells you it cannot be opened — which is macOS doing its job, and exactly the wrong first impression for an app whose whole subject is whether software is safe to trust. So it gets signed before it gets handed out.
- The download goes through one sign-in. One account for everything, so what you have access to follows you rather than the machine you happened to download it on. That sign-in is being built, and the download opens with it.
What you will be downloading
Your code does not leave unless you send it
The app is a desktop app, not a website you paste your project into. It reads what is on your disk, and audits read it with your own AI key, never through us.
See the audit before you commit to anything
Point it at something you have already built and get the actual findings, the caveats, and the categories it could not grade — not a sample report.
What it runs on
| macOS | One universal build covering both Apple silicon and Intel Macs. |
|---|---|
| Windows | An x64 installer, in beta. It has been built but not yet run on real Windows hardware. That is what the beta is for, so tell us what breaks. |
| Linux | An x64 AppImage, in beta, with the same caveat as Windows. No arm64, .deb or .rpm build yet. |
| Price | Free. What is paid, and what is not. |
While you wait
Nothing here needs the app or an account. The free tools run in your browser, Vibe Coder 101 is the free course, and Where are you stuck? asks four questions and writes you a checklist for the answers you actually gave.
