Vibe Coder Level 3: Professional

People use your app. Now run it like a business

Level 3 is for the vibe coder whose app has left the desk. Strangers sign up, someone asks about price, and the questions stop being about code. This level shows the tools for selling what you built. It unlocks nothing you could not already reach, and it costs nothing to switch to.

What changes when your app goes professional

The work moves from building to being found and chosen. Each of these is a habit before it is a tool.

  • Launch on purposePick a day, tell the people who asked to hear, and make sure the audit says the app is ready before strangers see it. A quiet launch you can fix beats a loud one you cannot.
  • Market to one kind of personWrite for the customer you already understand. One clear page that answers their question does more than posts on every network.
  • Spend on ads only when you can read the resultAn ad is worth what it brings back. If you cannot tell which ad brought which sale, measure before you spend more.
  • Build as if someone might buy itA buyer's team reads your code and your paperwork. They also ask who depends on you to keep it running. Fixing those early costs far less than fixing them under a deadline.

What the Playground does for you at Level 3

Everything below is in the app today, unless it says coming soon. Every card names the free way to do the same job, because nothing here should need a subscription to start.

See who visits

Analytics that track nobody, and split tests

See your visits and where they came from. Show two versions of a page and keep the one that converts. It runs through the privacy-first analytics add-on, whose page says exactly what it collects and what it does not.

Take it offline

A QR code for any page

Make a QR code for a page of your site to print on a flyer. You can put your own logo in the middle. A plain code holds your address and nothing else, so it never expires.

Free path: plain codes are free to everyone. A tracked code, which counts visits under a campaign name, comes with the analytics add-on.

Acquisition

Would a buyer's due diligence clear your app?

The acquisition audit reads your app the way a buyer's team would and gives it a readiness score. Set a target, such as a number of active users, and see how far off you are. A target never shows as hit before it is.

Free path: the acquisition audit is free in the desktop app and runs on your own AI key. The SaaS due diligence checklist covers the same ground by hand.

Ads

Know which ads paid for themselves Coming soon

A pixel you generate for your own site, conversions with real money on them, and a return figure that says unknown instead of guessing. You set a spend limit, and each campaign shows up as a lead source with its cost beside it. It is built, and it comes with Cloud, which is not open yet.

Free path: the analytics above show where your visits came from, so you can see whether an ad sent anyone at all. Turn an ad off when you cannot tie it to a sale.

Customers

A sales pipeline and a support desk Coming soon

Move each contact from first hello to paying, and answer customer questions in one inbox, beside the bug each question belongs to.

Free path: the Contact Hub already keeps everyone who reached you in one list.

Milestones: ten MRR marks to aim for

Monthly recurring revenue is the money your app brings in each month from subscriptions. Level 3 has ten marks along the way. They unlock nothing and cost nothing. Each one is a tier of reading and advice for the stage you are at, never a gate on a feature. Every tool on this page works the same at the first mark and the last.

  • $1 MRR
  • $3k MRR
  • $10k MRR
  • $30k MRR
  • $40k MRR
  • $50k MRR
  • $65k MRR
  • $75k MRR
  • $90k MRR
  • $100k MRR

Telling the Playground your MRR is optional. You type it in yourself if you want the milestones, and leave it blank if you do not. The Playground does not read your payments to find it. Milestones inside the app are Coming soon, along with picking your level there.

Cloud, and the free path beside it

The desktop app is free and stays free. You run your apps on your own computer and host them on your own account. Cloud is optional and Coming soon: an online place to manage what you run, from more than one computer, and to share it with the people you work with.

  • Cloud: the Playground Manager. It runs your roadmap tasks for you. Free path: run the same tasks yourself from the Roadmap tab in the desktop app.
  • Cloud: the Playground in your own AI agent. Run the audits from the AI chat you already use. Free path: the audits themselves stay free in the desktop app.

What Cloud is planned to include, and what it is planned to cost, is on the pricing page.

When to think about Enterprise

Once your team is bigger than 3 people, or your MRR reaches $10k, the Playground will suggest Enterprise. It says so once, and you can dismiss it. Everything you already use keeps working on the plan you have.

Enterprise is Coming soon. It is planned to add sign-in through your company's identity provider, user provisioning that also removes someone's access when they leave, and per-app access inside a department. Ask about Enterprise and a person reads your answers.

Levels 1 and 2 are still there

The levels decide what the app shows you, not what you are allowed to do. Switching back down hides tools and loses nothing.

  • Level 1: Learning. Build and run apps on your own computer, and fix what the audit finds.
  • Level 2: Building. Check that people can find your site, and keep a list of everyone who gets in touch.
