Privacy-first analytics for the apps you build
See who visits the apps you publish from the Playground, where they came from and what they click, without cookies and without tracking anyone. Because it stores no personal data, your visitors never see a consent banner.
What you get
- Cookieless, PII-free counts. No consent banner needed.
- Your data stays yours. Visits land in your own storage, not ours.
- Nothing to paste. It switches on when you publish.
- Visits, sources and link clicks, plus daily-unique visitors.
- Custom events, goals and A/B tests with real statistical significance.
- Client errors from real visitors, so you know when it breaks for someone else.
- Measured traffic in the Acquisition audit instead of numbers you typed in yourself.
One trade-off: it counts unique visitors per day, not people across days. That is the price of not tracking anyone.
QR codes for your pages
Every app has a QR code maker under its Analytics tab. Pick a page of your published site or paste an address, choose the colors, add a logo if you want one, and download the code as SVG or PNG.
- Plain codes are free to everyone. You do not need this add-on for them. The code holds the page address and nothing else. There is no short link of ours in the middle, so it never expires and keeps opening your page whatever you cancel.
- Tracked codes come with this add-on. Name the code (spring-flyer, say) and it adds three utm tags to the same address. Your app's own tracker then counts each visit under that name in Ad Manager. The tag names the campaign, not the person who scanned.
A tracked code is still not a redirect. If the add-on ends, the printed code keeps opening the page, and its visits stop being counted as soon as analytics is off for that app, with no need to publish again. An add-on bought on your own account switches its apps off within a day of ending. Switch any other app off yourself. A collector running on its own storage, like the one for AWS, cannot see the switch. Its visits stop once you switch analytics off, build the app again and publish it. A tracked code also needs analytics switched on for that app, or nothing would see the visits. To keep every code readable by a phone camera, the code must be darker than its background with a contrast of at least 4 to 1, and a logo can cover no more than 10% of it.
