Accessibility barrier check
Paste a page and see four accessibility barriers its HTML alone can show: images with no alt text, form fields with no label, a page with no language set, and colour contrast where the styles are in the paste. Each one comes back flagged, clear, or UNGRADED when the paste cannot show it. Contrast is measured by the same engine the installed audit runs.
What it reads
This reads the ONE page you pasted, as HTML, and answers four questions about it. Nothing is scored, and a question the paste cannot answer comes back UNGRADED rather than clear.
- Images: an image with no alt attribute, or a link or button whose only content is an image marked decorative (alt="")
- Form fields: a text box, select or text area with no label, aria-label, aria-labelledby or title
- Page language: the <html> element has no lang attribute, or an empty one
- Colour contrast of text, control edges and focus rings, measured from the <style> blocks in the paste by the same engine the installed audit runs
What it does not look at
- anything a script builds or changes after the page loads: a paste of the HTML holds only what the server sent, so an app that draws its page in the browser comes back UNGRADED here
- keyboard use, focus order, and the order a screen reader reads things in, which need the page running in a browser with someone driving it
- whether an alt text describes its picture, or whether a label says what its field is for: this reads that they exist, not whether they are right
- colours set in a stylesheet the page links, in a style="" attribute on one element, or by a script: only the <style> blocks in the paste are read, and a linked sheet that is not in the paste makes contrast UNGRADED
- text inside images, captions on video and audio, headings, link wording, and every other barrier class this page does not name
- whether a law applies to your site, or whether your site meets one. Whether the ADA or any other rule applies is a question for your counsel, and nothing here is a legal finding
What to do with the result
Fix what it flags first. Each flag quotes the tag or the style rule it is about, so you can find it in your own code. An UNGRADED answer means this paste could not show that class. It is not a pass, and it usually means the page is built by a script or its styles live in a file you did not paste.
A clear result on these four is a narrow statement. Keyboard use, focus order and the wording of links are not read here, and no automated check can tell you whether a law applies to your site. The vibe code audit measures contrast across every page and every stylesheet in your project.
