Confirm your business listings
Paste your page and we list the review and directory profiles it links to. Then you say which ones are really yours, fix the wrong ones and add the ones we missed. Your answer is what turns “your page says this” into “you said this”.
Which half you are in
SEO here comes in two halves: what we can read off your own page for free, and what only you can tell us. Everything on this screen says which half it came from, because "we could not measure it" and "it is not there" are different answers and they must never look the same.
What your own page already says
What can be read off your site right now, without asking you anything?
- What it needs from you
- Nothing.
- What it costs you
- Nothing. It reads bytes you already published.
- What we do
- We read the HTML of your page and record what is declared on it: the listings you link to, the markup that names your business, and every place a signal could have been declared and was not.
- What it cannot do
- It never leaves your page. It cannot see your rating on a platform, it cannot count your reviews, and it cannot tell whether a listing we found is really yours. Those all live on somebody else's server, and reading them is the other half.
- What an empty answer means here
- An absence here was LOOKED FOR. "Not declared" means every place it could have been was read and it is not there, which is a finding about your page. "Nothing on this page to read" means the check could not run at all, which is not a finding about anything.
Every row this half produces carries one of these labels:
- Read from your page. Measured from the bytes of your own page by the free audit. It is what your site says about itself, which is not always what you meant it to say.
- Measured, not declared. Every place on this page where this could have been declared was read, and it is not there. This is an absence that was looked for, not an absence assumed.
- Nothing on this page to read. This page carries none of the markup this observation is read from, so the check did not run. It is not a zero and it is not a pass.
What only you can tell us
Of the things we read, which are actually yours, and what did we miss entirely?
- What it needs from you
- A few minutes: say yes to the rows that are right, fix the ones that are wrong, and add anything we never saw. Later, connect the accounts you want read directly.
- What it costs you
- Your time, and nothing else. Nothing here is charged for and nothing is required.
- What we do
- We show you every listing the first half extracted and let you confirm, correct, remove or add. Confirming is what turns "your page says this" into "the owner of the business says this".
- What it cannot do
- It cannot happen without you, and nothing here happens on its own. Opening this screen confirms nothing. A confirmation is an act with a date on it, or it is not a confirmation.
- What an empty answer means here
- An absence here means we have not asked you yet, or you have not answered. It is never evidence that the thing does not exist.
Every row this half produces carries one of these labels:
- Found, and you confirmed it. This was read off your site and you looked at it and said it was right. Two sources agreeing, one of them you.
- You told us. You entered this. Several platforms publish nothing a program can read, so for those this is the only way the number can exist, and it is your own figure, which makes it the best one there is.
- From your connected account. Read from the platform account you connected, so it is the platform's own number and it can be read again tomorrow.
- Not available on the free tier. This half was never attempted. It needs a request to somebody else’s server, and the free tier makes none, so nothing here is a finding about your site.
This page is not open yet. Its server is not connected, so the form is hidden rather than taking something that would go nowhere. The halves explained above still apply.
Your private link to this list. Keep it. Anyone with this link can see and change the list, and nobody without it can. We keep only a scrambled copy of the key, so we cannot send it to you again.
What we do not check
- that you own the business or the site. The list belongs to whoever holds its link, and a “yes” here is the word of that person, nothing more
- whether a listing page exists or is live. Nothing here visits the addresses; it reads the page you pasted
- your ratings or how many reviews you have. Those live on the platforms, behind their own doors
- any page other than the one you pasted
Where this fits
The free SEO checker scores the page itself and keeps nothing. This page is the next step: it asks you about the listings that page points to. The installed Playground has the same screen for each of your projects, run by the same code.
